The first cycle of the project revolves around the dialogue between two primary elements: Earth and Light, which indeed give the project its name. On one hand, our relationship with matter, corporeality, and simultaneously our connection to the earth in which we dwell. On the other hand, the most immaterial, intangible element, which allows us clarity of vision and the transcendence of our limits through a spiritual force.
Lights
Light art, a particular form of contemporary art that utilizes the potential of light language to unveil hidden connections between reality and imagination. The first work is created by Emilio Ferro, an internationally renowned artist whose works investigate the perception of light and space through installations and projects designed for natural and museum environments. His poetics merge light, sound, and visual arts, believing that only the encompassing experience of art can comprehend “the profound beauty of nature, through the distortion of reality on which the artist intervenes, sharing with the spectator what is out of the ordinary“.
